HELLCATS – ADRENALIZING MEDIA – NRCity
The female heavy metal pioneers Hellcats from Slovenia present a video for their new single „Black Thunder“.
Adrenalizing Media Network was involved in the song and video as co-producer.
The second single from the upcoming Hellcats album „Black Thunder“ was released on Friday, October 13, 2024 and presented live for the first time on October 28 at London’s iconic 100 Club on Oxford Street. Hellcats shared the stage with Blondie drummer Clem Burke and filled the club, which was
treated to a great rock event.
The song was wriƩen by sisters Sasha Zagorc (bass) and Sonja Zagorc (drums) and recorded by producer Dejan Radicevic, a well-known and respected Slovenian producer. He was delighted: „It was a pleasure to work with Hellcats. The girls are real rockers from head to toe, and you can hear it. The metal sound suits them perfectly and with the new members came new talents that may surprise you in the future!“
Together with the new composition, they present a video directed by Perica Rai. The music video was broadcast on YouTube on October 31st 2024. You can stream the video here:

INSIDE HELLCATS
The video was co-produced by Adrenalizing Media GmbH from Dortmund. Markus Liedtke, Associate Co-Producer, started working with Sasha and Sonja in the early stages of the NRCity Stories streaming show and supported the sisters from then on. He says: „The band, especially Sasha and Sonja, have such great potential and energy and Adrenalizing Media will be working with them to help them take
their potential to a bigger stage. The songs and new material will feed into the musical universe of the NRCity franchise in some way and I’m very excited that we can do cool things with the Hellcats and become a sustainable partner for them,“ says Markus Liedtke.
Hellcats were one of the first all-female metal bands in Europe and are sƟll the only all-female band in Slovenia. They released an EP (Hellcats) in 2010 and two full-length albums in 2013 (Divja Pot) and 2014 (Warrior Princess). The band has a new force, Sara Simeunovic on vocals and Mia Marinic on guitar, and in the words of listeners from their recent UK tour, where they performed on major stages
such as the O2 Academy in Islington, they are the strongest line-up yet. So far Hellcats have toured Germany, Italy, Austria, Russia and Croatia. Right after the UK tour they were invited to Finland.
They are ready to express their energy on stage and show the people that they are unstoppable with their work. As they say in Black Thunder – Never give up!
